Proper candle care helps you enjoy a cleaner burn, stronger fragrance throw, and extends the life of your candle.

Before Your First Burn

When lighting your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing it.

This usually takes around:

  • Small candles: 2-3 hours
  • Medium candles: 3-4 hours
  • Large candles: 4-5 hours

This helps prevent tunnelling, where wax burns down the centre and leaves unused wax around the edges.

Trim Your Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm.

You can use wick trimmers, scissors, or carefully pinch away excess wick once cooled.
